Where we are
We are fortunate to have the use of the church of Saint Jean Baptiste in the Place de l’Eglise at 47210 DOUDRAC (MAP), a village on the D250 between Castillonès and Villeréal.
Both the maire of Doudrac and the Catholic curé of Monflanquin, in whose parish the church falls, approve and support regular Anglican worship in this beautiful medieval building by a lively and inclusive English-speaking congregation.
There is a fairly level walk to the west door from the ample car park and there are toilets in the adjoining salle de fêtes (when open). Access is easy and the welcome warm!
What we do
Our normal rota is to hold a Holy Communion at Doudrac on the first Sunday of each month at 11h00, following the Church of England liturgy. Then, on the third Sunday of each month we have a service of Evening Worship that can take many forms. Seasonal events like Harvest Festival and Christmas Carols add variety to the year.
Families are welcome, with a children’s corner where parents can be with young children. After every service, we chat over refreshments or club together for a meal in the hall. All are welcome!
Throughout the year we also mount a range of social activities, promoting fellowship and raising funds for charity.

Who is involved
While leaders for our services are provided by the Chaplaincy, the rest of each event is taken care of by teams drawn from the congregation.
The church is cleaned and decorated by one team, attenders are welcomed by another, readings are delivered by a third, refreshments by a fourth. We are fortunate to have a gifted organist who directs our music and song.
