Theme: 'Freedom in a Framework'

Friday April 28th - Sunday April 30th, 2023 (from 14:30 on Friday until Sunday after lunch)

Come and join us for a peaceful and refreshing weekend in the beautiful surroundings of the Abbaye d’Echourgnac (24410, NW of Bergerac).

Together we will explore and contemplate different medieval and monastic ways of life and learn how a framework for prayer and meditation can support our spiritual growth and freedom. During the weekend we will hear stories from some friends on how they find ‘freedom in a framework’ in their own lives, and how through applying a monastic rhythm in our lives we can draw closer to God and find a new and richer pattern to the day.

Our aim is that we will leave the Abbaye renewed and restored.

Led by Amanda Allchorn and Tina Marshall, the Retreat will start: Friday 28 April 16.00, through to Sunday 28 April 12.00, followed by lunch. Arrival is from 14.30 on the Friday, allowing time to settle and have tea and cake.

Cost for a single room with en-suite occupancy and full board is 150€.

There is an option available to remain at the Abbaye for an additional 24 hours (full board), without any set program, but with encouragement to be still and quiet, for an additional cost of 45 €.
